Lack of separate changing facilities in primary schools
With children being focused on body image at a younger age and girls developing earlier, girls and boys should not be getting changed in the same room at primary school. Allowing the girls who have began puberty sooner to go off to a private area only increases their chances of being bullied for being different.
Schools should be forced to utilise separate changing areas from at least year 3. Where these are unavailable, a screen should be used.
