Under 16's pay no income tax
Adults in the UK do not have the right to vote until they are 18. People aged 16 and 17 can work, must pay tax on their earnings when they do but have no right to voice an opinion regarding the government they pay their taxes to.
The voting age and taxable ages should be the same. No-one should have to pay taxes to a government they have had no say in electing.
