Sort out Lincoln Traffic Chaos
Lincoln has suffered enough; since the removal of the old foot bridges the pedestrian and vehicular congestion has become simply intolerable in the city.
The level crossings shuts every 7 minutes during peak hours, shutting for at least 2 minutes every time.
Lincolnshire Council and central government have done much to improve access to the city, yet they have done nothing to improve city congestion.
I would ask the city, county and central government to review the cross city transport network and look to invest in a short term solution that will no doubt deliver long term financial benefits to the local economy.
