Petition Action

No confidence in the UK Government and the armed forces cuts

Additional Information

We the people, declare that we no longer have confidence in Her Majesties Government and in particular it's handling of defence cuts, disability (DLA) cuts, the closure of Remploy factories, and its support for corrupt bankers at the expense of our armed forces, veterans, and the majority of the electorate.

We call upon Parliament to:

1. Hold a full and frank debate and vote upon this motion.
2. To allow the electorate the right to petition Parliament directly in regards to calling for new general elections outside of the normal election cycle.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Votes of no confidence are a matter for Parliament not the Government.
