Petition Action

G4S should publically apologise to Service Personnel and their families.

Additional Information

Our overcommitted Armed Forces are once again expected by this Government to step up and sacrifice time with their families and loved ones with NO extra pay to bail G4S out and cover Olympic security shortfall!
G4S should publically apologise to Service Personnel and their families for this Olympics security shambles which is an embarrassment for the whole of the United Kingdom.
Our Service Personnel should also be paid the same Operational Allowance for the Olympics as they would be paid for an Operational Deployment to Afghanistan out of the G4S contract; to recompense for the conditions in which they are having to live in, the long days which they are working (they are not paid overtime) and the separation from their families and loved ones.
The Home Office Minister with responsibility for security at the Games, the Home Secretary and the Chairman of LOCOG should also have to apologies to our Service Personnel and their Families; they are all accountable and culpable.
