Petition Action

Make political party manifestos put up before general elections legally binding.

Additional Information

David Cameron promised a referendum on our membership of the EU, without qualification, in his pre-election manifesto, as a dishonest means to get himself more votes - BECAUSE HE KNOWS THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY WANT US OUT OF THE EU. Immediately he took his post in Number 10 he refused, and STILL refuses, to keep his promise to hold an in/out referendum to the electorate who, had they not been lied to would not have voted for him. That is a blatant case of disingenuity for pecuniary advantage by a politician which should be indictable as a criminal offence.
