Save Atherton South
Wigan Council wish to earmark the South Of Atherton for housing development.
WIG 156 is a proposal to build houses on open land South of Atherton with multiple access routes. Along with plans for more development south of Bolton Road there are a proposed 2,830 new houses for Atherton.
Atherton does not have the infrastructure to cope with all the extra traffic and Green Land used for residents enjoyment will be lost.
