Pardon for ALL living and dead gay men convicted for indecency in private under section 11 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act 1885
This year is the centenary of the birth of Alan Turing, a hero and genius.
Turing was convicted under section 11 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act 1885 for indecency in private with another man. There are currently calls for his pardon in respect of this conviction.
Rather than just pardon Turing, however, there should be a pardon for all men (some still living) who were convicted under this offence in respect of acts in private.
