Petition Action

Change the law to make it illegal for NHS staff to use NHS facilities to treat anybody who becomes ill through self abuse.

Additional Information

Anybody who self abuses through alcohol, drugs or tobacco does so through personal choice. The NHS is funded by taxpayers who are denied treatment when they become ill because too much is being spent on self abusers. This has to be stopped. People need to know that when they choose to self abuse they choose to pay the medical bills for the cost of any treatment arising out of their decision to self abuse.
