Make abusing soldiers in Uniform an offence similar to that of abusing the police

Additional Information

Where a soldier is in uniform and performing a public duty in the UK or in uniform going about their daily lives. Make it an offence to physically or verbally abuse that soldier i.e. profanity or spitting at the individual. This to be a seperate offence to that covered under current laws or section 5 of the public order act.
