Allow people buying/renting new build apartments to purchase parking permits
It has been a source of frustration that people wanting to buy new builds do not do so because councils do not allow them to buy parking permits. Many rely on cars for their work so are prevented from buying because of this. This means that the bottom wrung of the property ladder which is not good news for anyone.
Why should people be prevented from parking just because of when their home was built?
