Ben Ainslie has won gold medals in every olympics this millenium. he has won medals in each of the last 5 years. he has inspired 2 generations of sailors not just one. He won his first medal four years before sir chris hoy, and is more than capable of going to a sixth and seventh olympics.
the consumate professional, modest, focussed and commitrted. because we are a minority sport, we do not get the recognition.
even with the limitation on one medal per games he is still 4th in all time medal winners.
