Stop taxpayers money being used to save a football club
As outlined on the Portsmouth County Council website here:
http://www.portsmouth.gov.uk/HomePage/news-and-communications_26307.html
"Portsmouth City Council today (Thursday 9 August) voted unanimously in an extraordinary council meeting to approve a loan of £1.45m to the Portsmouth Supporters’ Trust (PST), in support of their bid to purchase Portsmouth Football Club."
I do not feel this is an appropriate use of taxpayers money. I can not accept that a Council can decide to lend money against a club with such poor financial history.
The Government needs to step in to ensure that PCC money is not misappropriated in order to save Portsmouth Football Club.
