Create a mobile NHS dental service for immobile / disabled people
We have on-call doctors, home helps, midwives and libraries, but what Immobile / severely disabled / elderly people also desperately need is a widespread mobile NHS dental service who can go to them and provide at least basic oral health service.
I would like the government to consider / trial one mobile in-home NHS dentist or mobile dental surgery per 'council', or a couple per county to provide much needed dental care for qualifying disabled and immobile people around the UK - it will help meet the basic needs of so many vulnerable people who have previously been unable to access basic dental care, and increase quality of life for so many people who suffer because of immobility.
