Recognition for Olympic Volunteers
"To recognise those volunteers, cast and crew who gave their time, unpaid, to ensure that the Olympic Games in London 2012 started, ran and ended so successfully.
To include those volunteers who were Gamesmakers, also those in the opening and closing ceremonies, working before and during the Games.
This recognition to be public and include an exclusive token of appreciation, such as a medal."
