Petition Action

Apology from Mitt Romney for his remarks about the 2012 Olympics

Additional Information

We, the undersigned, demand a full, sincere and public apology from Mitt Romney to the British people for his comments made in July 2012 in which he publically criticised the ability of LOCOG, the British Government and British people to organise and run the 2012 London Olympic Games.
We also ask Mr Romney to acknowledge that the London 2012 Olympics, described as 'absolutely fabulous' by Jacques Rogge, have been one of the most succesful games of the modern era.
We request that the British Government, Prime Minister and the British Ambassador to the United States of America support this demand, and take every opportunity to solicit a suitable apology from Mr Romney.
