Games Makers
Olympic Legacy - continue with Games Makers.
Following the huge success and global acclaim achieved by Games Makers during the Olympics, the incredible good will and pride, and the subsequent calls by celebs such as Eddie Izard for people to volunteer, I would ask the Government to consider making Games Makers into an on-going voluntary organisation, perhaps sponsored by private the sector. The possibilities and potential benefits are endless, but at the core would be nationwide volunteers galvanised by the Olympic Legacy, willing to give a little time to help run both small local events AND large internationals as and when they occur.
