Set MPs and local council members pay to the national median+10%

Every member of Government both local and national works in the best interests of the people.

The proposal to enforce a pay restriction of the median national wage+10% would mean that members of the government would be on a lifestyle and financial par with the average working person in this country, and therefore better able to relate to the situations faced by the majority of the electorate, while receiving a small bonus in reflection of the requirement of the dedication required to reach office of any kind.

If the government of this nation wants to be able to truly say that it represents its people, then the leaders should be of those people, not isolated from the problems faced by the average person.
