Convicted rapists should be given the death penalty
Rape is the most horrific crime imaginable as it violates a persons body and then forces them to live with the aftermath.
With modern advances in forensics the identity of a rapist can be determined beyond doubt, especially if a national DNA database was maintained of every citizen and it is therefore the most suitable crime for the death penalty which is the only effective way to remove such evil from our streets
