Lancashire County New Names

Additional Information

This petion proposes that the historic county name, Lancashire, be used to re-name firstly, Greater Manchester to South East Lancashire and secondly Merseyside to South West Lancashire. The duties and responsibilities of the counties would remain as is in current operation, This would be a simple name change only and would be similar to the county names of Yorkshire.
