MPs pay to be minimum wage, plus expenses
Given the gross inequalities in our nation and the old-Etonian preponderance in parliament, it seems obvious that a more egalitarian approach is not only of benefit, but essential to democracy.
Therefore, the salaries of Members of Parliament should be identical to "minimum wage". This will assure a true interest in parcipitative democracy over enrichment, from a pool of people who can relate to most citizens and not just an elite.
This will also ensure that the poorest receive a decent minimum wage.
Obviously, expenses necessary to job function will be additional
