Setting up of Gov't run bank and utilities to control charges and profits made by these industries..

Additional Information

The population of The UK has for long enough overpaid that which is paid by its European and US neighbours on many everyday items ie fuel (both transport and domestic gas and electricity) food and banking charges across the board.
It is no suprise that despite the worldwide recession these sectors continue to make bigger profits year on year.
We are being overcharged.
I propose Gov't owned businesses compete with these 'cartels' to reduce the obscene profit margins and give the UK consumer a much better deal.
