Goods "Sold as Seen" by Private Sellers

Additional Information

Following a recent disastrous buy from a private individual. I believe that buyers of goods from private individuals should be afforded the same rights as a buyer from a shop or authorised dealer/trader.
Caveat Emptor should be a thing of the past as it allows unscrupulous ripping off.
Give the same rights to purchasers of goods from private individuals as from authorised dealers or stores.
