Celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the Burning of Washington
August 24th 2014 will be the 200th anniversary of the burning of Washington by heroic British forces in the War of 1812. As Monday 25th is aleady a bank holiday that year, this day should be marked with national celebrations, not unlike the jubilee.
