Outlaw the presentation and acceptance of gifts to individual/ groups of teachers.

Additional Information

At the end of each school year pupils and parents are now expected to engage in a increasing unseemly battle to buy the best gift for their teacher (or their child's teacher).
.
Therefore the government should bring the teaching profession in line with that of nursing and introduce legislation that outlaws any acceptance of a gift in kind or financial to a teacher or school.
