medical negligence
my daughter died as a result of medical negligence in 2003
at the inquest in 2008 the Consultant Paediatrician made the statement " because of my error of judgement my actions condemned Kirsty to death".
the coroner stated that the trust contributed to my daughters death.
the General Medical Council stated "though the doctors behaviour could be classed as negligent it was not negligent enough for him to face the fitness to practice panel" yet my daughter died as a result of that negligence.
it is disgraceful that children have to suffer the consequences of the sometimes shocking excuse for poor medical care and thye parents to lose that child with no hope of justice from the powers in government.
i want the government to introduce legislation to ensure that those responsible for negligent treatments that cause the death of anybody in their care be made a crime and dealt with in the appropriate manor.
