Petition Action

To maintain 'British Summer Time' all year around

Additional Information

We hereby petition the Government to maintain the GMT +1hour ('British Summer Time') setting throughout the year in the UK.
The benefit for the overwhelming majority of the population being that there will be longer daylight in the winter afternoons.

(note. This petition differs from Jordan Powell's 'Campaign to stop clocks going back in winter' petition in that the GMT, as a timing benchmark, should be maintained as the standard reference for all the world's clocks)
