Paralympics 2012 has ignited in the UK a massive awareness, understanding and appreciation of people with disability. The UK government looks to the construction sector to ignite economic growth and regeneration. See the connection, make the legacy happen.
DCLG must legislate now that all new house building in the UK to have fully disabled-friendly ground floor living accommodation or wheelchair access to disabled-friendly upper-storey accommodation.
