Petition Action

Change the smoking ban

Additional Information

Change the smoking ban to allow smoking in ventilated indoor smoking rooms in bars and also in certain over 21 members only clubs.

This would help bring in more tax revenue during this time of economic hardship and would be more more in line with the original draft of the legislation.

The Labour government explicitly stated there would be several exemptions to the ban in their campaign manifesto before the total ban was introduced.
