Regrade Summer 2012 English Language GCSE results in England
We, the undersigned, call upon the UK Government urgently to follow the fine example of their Welsh counterparts and see to it that the above exams are marked fairly and consistently, and regraded where appropriate.
Since students in both England and Wales sat exactly the same paper, the marks and processes used to reach them must also be exactly the same.
This is too important an issue for the UK Govt. to try to avoid or "pass the buck" over. Why must young people deal with the consequences of Govt. embarrassment? It is ineffably unfair and must not continue.
