Develop an evidence-based education policy
We know that the education system requires reform, but we believe that the government should base this reform on evidence about what works in, and out of, the classroom, not their outdated ideology.
Our education system should encourage the mental, social and physical development of all young people, prepare them for employment in a fast-paced global economy, and create active citizens.
Therefore we ask that the government conduct a review of the 14-16 education system, engaging all stakeholders in the schooling of our young people, and base its policies on the evidence, not opinion.
