Democratically Accountable Bank of England
Given that democratic polls on the EU Constitution and the Greek election were both steamrolled and that Party Politics is impotent to address the power that the bankers have to derail capitalism, I propose that the devolution of the Bank of England is fully reversed, nationalised and made accountable by electing a representative who will have full powers in parallel to the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
Private banks should also be made to adopt this system, with open elections based on binding manifestos with share holders having a value-added vote in proportion to the amount of their shares.
International bankers hold power in a way that politicians don't, therefore they must be accountable in a democracy.
