Gateshead council have approved th building of a 383 space car park for staff of the local hospital to use on a park and ride basis. They state this is a temporary measure while building work for a much needed A&E is in process. However, 3 years with 2 options to be extended by 12 months is hardly temporary to the local residents. Sign this petition and help us to keep our green space!
