Owners of cats are to ensure that their pets are confined to the owners property or that which they are responsible
Cat owners should either confine cats to their house or ensure that any outside area used by the cat on the property is secure as far as possible, so that the cat will not be able to encroach on neighbouring properties.
If a cat is found outside its home area and causes offence the owner would be liable for a fine if precautions had not been taken.
