Routinely arm all UK Police Officers
Given the murder of two unarmed female Police Officers I think its only fair that the standard Officer on the street has the ability to defend himself; with lethal force if need be. Constables on the mainland (not NI) currently do not carry any form of firearm (with the exception of Armed Response Units). It's a dangerous job, give them the protection they need.
Criminals have guns, why don't our Officers?
