death penalty for murder of police officers
Rather than risk the arming of police , convicted murderers of police officers should be aware that the death penalty will be the only sentence passed on them. This is to both deter such crimes and to protect officers from the ever increasing exposure to violence, which they confront daily on the public's behalf.
