CHARITY SHOPS TOO EXPENSIVE
WE WANT THE GOVERNMENT TO TAKE ACTION REGARDING THE EXTORTIONATE RETAIL PRICES THAT ARE BEING ASKED FOR THE SALE OF GOODS THAT ARE BEING DONATED TO THE SHOPS. WE WANT REDUCED PRICES IN CHARITY SHOPS AND AN INVESTIGATION AS TO WHY PRICES ARE HIGHER IN CHARITY SHOPS THAN IN THE MAJOR HIGH STREET RETAIL OUTLETS THAT SELL NEW PRODUCTS AND GOODS.WE WANT A CEILING LIMIT ON THE PRICES CHARGED BY THE CHARITES FOR ALL GOODS.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
I'm afraid charities like all businesses are free to charge what they wish.
