Petition Action

Repeal the law that bans satirical use of parliamentary footage.

Additional Information

To have a ban on footage from the house of commons being used for comedic purposes is wholly undemocratic. We're supposed to have a free press in this country and stopping people in the media from satirising our politicians is in direct violation of that. This ridiculous law should not exist, and we call on the Government to recognise this and repeal it.
