Stop New Nuclear Power Plants
Stop the planned new nuclear build,
put the research money first into retro-fit CCS with on-site storage and treatment,
second into developing existing and new renewable clean safe energy sources.
Allowing a safe global clean-up of CO2 emissions while we develop a baseload of mixed technology and mixed location renewables,
with clean fossil as flexible back up as capacity is developed.
We already have a big enough nuclear legacy to deal with thank you.
