Petition Action

People on Low Income protected from Council Tax Benfit abolishement on 1st April 2013. Loss of 12% of funding & payment by all those of working age.

Additional Information

If Council Tax benefit is abolished and all people of working age are expected to contribute regardeless on income those on low income will suffer the greatest effect & loss.

3.5million children in the UK living in poverty- save the children (27% of all children).

1 in 4 people in the UK are living below the minimum income standard.POVERTY IN THE UK needs to be addressed.

Protecting low income families & individuals from these changes is extremely important they too like pensioners as vunerable people in society.
