"The Government said 26,000 cattle were slaughtered in 2011 as part of TB controls. It is estimated to cost the taxpayer £100 million in compensation each year"
Farmers dont want to have to put their cattle down. But TB in badgers needs to be controlled. Nobody minds about the thousands of cows being culled!
