Stop to means-tested student finance
Oxford University - £3270 living costs.
Loan to live on for student who has worked weekends to fund a car to get to sixth-form college. A student who has little support financially from parents purely because they have their own financial difficulties. A means-tested system that doesn't truly represent the financial situation of the applicant. - £3788
Remainder to live on - £13 per week.
Why is this even allowed. Student finance should be equal to all... based on academic ability - not parental income.
