Petition Action

Entitling all Civil Emergency Personnel to the Queen Elizabeth Cross Award in future, plus create the Prince of Wales Cross for Wounded Personnel too.

Additional Information

In Honour and in Remembrance of PC Fiona Bone & PC Nicola Hughes, Killed-in-the-Line-of-Duty.
There should be a change the Entitlement Rules to the Queen Elizabeth Cross Award, to Include CoastGuard Police Ambulance & Fire Officer’s Killed while carrying out their duties on behalf of the British Crown, Parliament and People.
Many feel now and did in the past in the British Armed Forces, veteran’s and military families, that the Civilian Emergency Services personnel should have been included. Or entitled to the Queen Elizabeth Cross Award equally to their families, of Killed Civil Emergency personnel too.
We now call for this error by the British Government to be corrected, as a joint military and police family.
Also there should be a new award created for Wounded-in-Line-of-Duty too, maybe called the Prince of Wales Cross, for all members of the Armed Forces and the Civil Emergency Services.
