Prohibit any future UK bank bailouts

Additional Information

Pass into law a statute absolutely prohibiting the use of treasury or taxpayer funds to bail out failed or failing private banks, and the acquisition of failed banks by the government.

Without the safety net of state subsidy or support, the speculative and risky banking activity which has already brought about one calamitous recession should be permanently disengaged from traditional banking activities
