Protect UK defence capabilities
With so many threats in the modern world the UK must maintain a credible defence force. Our number of sea and air assets have decreased dramatically. It is important to remember that we are an island and have political power throughout the world but with a decreasing army, navy and air force our only strength will be is how to ask America nicely! The Government must comit to using both new aircraft carriers, comit to ordering the Joint Strike Fighter and increase our surface ships from 19 to 24.
