Self select Stocks & shares ISA ban tax on dividends

Additional Information

A tax free Isa should be just that Tax Free.. Why are dividend payments held within a self select stocks and shares Isa taxed?
I would like the Govt. to change the policy on taxing dividends within an Isa umbrella
