Petition Action

Save £5.8 million of tax payers money going to MPs for food when working class have to pay out of their wages

Additional Information

MPs and their aides dining in the House of Commons restaurants receive £5.8m a year in food subsidies from the taxpayer. The signed requests this be taken away from MPs since working class people with or without children have to pay for food out of their own wages.

GPs employed directly by PCTs earn between £53,781 to £81,158 per year.
Band 9 nurse receives £97,478 per year.
Police officer out of training earns £25,317 per year.

How can the government possibly justify taking jobs from the people when money they use could go towards more jobs.
