Bank Holiday in October to celebrate our armed servicemen and women
To put in place a bank holiday to celebrate the work of our men and women in the armed services. This would remember those who have died as well as those who are currently serving. By holding on October, it would spread out the bank holidays across the year. Alternatively it could be linked to Armistice day on 11th November.
