Part Time Advertisements
Since the lay person is being forced to consider part time positions. It should be law that employers place on any advertisement the figure they are going to pay instead of entering a higher figure with the words 'PRO RATA' following.
Even the governments own gov.uk site says:
‘pro rata’ (in proportion to hours worked). For example, if a full-time worker gets a £1,000 Christmas bonus, and a part-time worker works half the number of hours, they should get £500.
If the applicants do not know how much a full time worker gets, how can they make an informed choice?
