Public enquiry into HMRC's tacit approval of multinational tax avoidance schemes
25.10.12: We have become aware that HMRC have known for years that large multinational firms operating in the UK were engaged in large scale tax avoidance schemes.
These relatively simple schemes meant they avoided paying huge amount of corporation tax on their UK earnings.
We need a public enquiry to uncover why HMRC approved these scheme. Exactly how much tax has been avoided and in addition to Ebay, Amazon, Google, Facebook & Starbucks who else are involved. We must then recoup the money by taxing them retrospectively.
